The Power of Intention: How to Create a Holistic Wellness Routine for the New Year

As we step into 2025, there’s a buzz of energy that comes with new beginnings. It’s a time to dream big, set goals, and - most importantly - turn inward to reflect on how we care for ourselves. Instead of jumping straight into rigid resolutions that often feel like chores, let’s try something different this year: setting intentions.

Unlike resolutions, which tend to focus on specific outcomes, intentions are about creating a state of being. They’re rooted in mindfulness and align with how you want to feel and show up in your life. And when it comes to holistic wellness - caring for your skin, body, and soul - intentions are a game changer.

Here’s how to create a holistic wellness routine in 2025 by setting powerful, purposeful intentions:

1. Get Clear on What You Want to Feel

Start by asking yourself: How do I want to feel this year?
Do you want to feel radiant, balanced, calm, energized? Let this be your guiding light. For example, if “radiant” is your intention, your routine may focus on practices that nourish your skin and boost your confidence from within.

Write it down, repeat it, and come back to it whenever you feel stuck. Your intention will become your anchor.

2. Make Skincare a Ritual, Not a Chore

Holistic skincare is about more than products; it’s a time to connect with yourself. This year, approach your skincare routine with mindfulness:

  • Start with an oil cleanse to gently melt away the day while giving yourself a mini facial massage.
  • Follow with a hydrating cleanser to nourish and prep your skin.
